Not only does this make-up brush complement the December Birchbox beautifully, it’s the perfect size and shape to fit the contour of your eyes. Made from cruelty-free, synthetic bristles, you can use it with your favourite powder or cream shadows to shade and define your eyelids for a foolproof smokey eye or to add a simple wash of colour.

1. SMOKEY EYE

The angled bristles mean there’s no need to use multiple brushes to create a smokey eye – this one does it all! Press the very edge of the brush into your chosen powder or cream shadow, then line your upper and lower lash line by pressing it along the edge of your lashes to create a line. If you want a super smokey effect then give the brush a quick wipe then run it over the line a couple of times to buff out the edges.

2. SUBTLE DEFINITION

The easiest way to make your eyes really pop is to blend eyeshadow into the crease of your eyes – the natural line that you can see above your eyelid when your eyes are open. Once you’ve chosen your shadow, use small circular motions along the crease – starting from the outer corner of your eye and working towards the centre. Stop when you’re in line with your pupil for a wide-eyed effect!

3. EASY BLENDING

Not a huge eyeshadow fan? This brush is great for adding a simple wash of colour to your lids too, thanks to the soft and fluffy bristles. Use the flat side of the brush to apply shadow all over your eyes – as a base for other colours or if you like to keep things simple.

Remember, you can get your December Birchbox until Sunday, 31st December. There’s a full-size Spectrum Collections make-up brush in every box!
