How To: Conceal and Highlight With Lord & Berry

If, like us, your complexion is starting to reflect a festive season spent over-indulging in leftover turkey sandwiches, one-too-many glasses of bubbly, and 2am Netflix binges, then we have the solution! This month, some of you will receive the Lord & Berry Conceal-It Crayon inside your January Birchbox – and trust us when we say that this is way more than just a concealer. This multi-purpose product not only disguises imperfections but it also highlights areas that you want to show off! Here’s how..

The quickest-and-easiest way to open up your eyes is by brightening the area beneath your brows. Dot the pencil beneath your brow bones to illuminate – all you need to do is blend in with your fingertips.

When you’ve had yet another late night, and your undereye bags are giving the game away, this creamy pencil will disguise dark circles in seconds. Simply scribble it beneath your eyes (just like colouring in!) then blend it in with a brush or your fingers.

A foolproof way to awaken tired complexions is to create a luminous base. By drawing a line of concealer along the top of your cheek bones, you’ll be able to fake more radiant skin – without having to mess about with various primers and potions. Don’t forget to blend out the edges for a natural finish!

Whether you’re a natural lip fan or a bold lip girl, by dotting a small amount of concealer onto your cupid’s bow (just above the centre of your upper lip) you’ll create an instantly fuller pout. Not only that but, if you’re wearing a lippie, it will also kelp any colour to really stand out.

Finally, when it comes to concealer there’s no need to have one for concealing undereyes and one for imperfections – the Lord & Berry Conceal-It Stick does both!If you’re covering scarring or pigmentation, dot the concealer directly onto the imperfections then blend out the edges with your fingertips. For an active breakout, we’d suggest using a small brush to take product from the tip and apply it to your skin (to prevent spreading germs).
