It’s official: Everyone’s favourite 23-year-old, Nashville-based country-pop star is in love with Harry Styles the top-selling artist of 2012. Her latest album, Red—which Swift describes as a chronicle of her “tumultuous, crazy adventures in love” (our takeaway: she is never ever getting back together with Jake Gyllenhaal and/or Joe Jonas and/or John Mayer)—sold a whopping 1.2 million copies within the first week alone. Romantic intrigues aside, one major selling point, if you ask us, is her new look—it’s decidedly more globetrotting vixen than girl next door, what with the bold red lips. Here’s how to get it.

Whether or not you have porcelain skin, you want your complexion to look flawless. A BB cream will do the trick. Sweep a bit of Bellapierre shimmer powder in Cinnebar along the apples of your cheeks for an added glow.

Bellapierre shimmer powders are super-versatile—they can also be used as eye shadows. Apply a bronze shade, like Harmony, to the eyelid and below the lower lash line for a subtly smoky effect. Finish with a few coats of black mascara (we like Bellapierre’s).

One word: red. As in StudioMakeup’s Really Red, or Royal Red, or Truly Red (bonus: the formula is super-hydrating). Whichever shade you choose—and we do have tips on how to find it)—start by freshening up your lips.

Use a Twistband to tie it back into a loose, low-slung ponytail. Otherwise, we’re loving Swift’s long, messy fringe.

Go blue! Color Club offers a range of trendy shades. Or, perhaps, try a sequined look.
